What are the Payment Terms & Conditions?
What payment methods does EconomyBookings accept? You can make your booking on EconomyBookings with credit cards Visa, MasterCard or American Express. You will also need a credit card on the pick-up to leave a deposit. What is an advanced payment/prepayment? EconomyBookings requires full or partial prepayment depending on car rental company terms and conditions to guarantee car price and availability. For partial prepayment, the amount to be paid on arrival will be indicated on your confirmation voucher. You will be charged for this amount at the counter by the car rental company along with the cost of additional options if there are any. If the confirmation voucher indicates “zero” to be paid on arrival, it means that you have paid for your car rental in full in advance and at the counter you will only need to produce your papers and credit card to leave a deposit. Can I use a different person's credit card to pay for the car rental? Online payments can be made using any valid card. However, at the time of vehicle collection, a credit card under the main driver's name must be presented. Cash payments are not accepted.

I want to know more about Last Minute Cancellation
Last Minute Cancellation gives you an opportunity to cancel your booking up until 1 hour before pick-up without paying the cancellation fee. The validity period of Last Minute Cancellation begins on the date of its purchase and ends one hour before pick-up. What are the Last Minute Cancellation restrictions Last Minute Cancellation is not valid if you cancel your booking less than one hour before pick-up. When you cancel your booking, the price of Last Minute Cancellation remains non-refundable. If you have purchased Last Minute Cancellation and cancel your booking less than 48 hours prior to pick-up, you will receive in your E-Wallet the full amount paid, excluding the cost of Last Minute Cancellation. Please note that in this case you will not be able to withdraw the funds to your original payment method and can only use them for future rentals. You can cancel your Last Minute Cancellation within 24 hours from the moment you have added it to your booking. How to cancel a booking? Online booking cancellation is available in the Bookings section of your User Profile. Please sign in to your User Profile or register using the email specified during the booking process.

What are the requirements for a driving license?
A driving license must be presented at pick-up. The car won’t be provided to you if your license has expired or is provisional. When you rent a car abroad, in some countries you will need an International Driving Permit (often called International Driving License). Please note that International Driving License is only valid when used in conjunction with your valid national driving license. Please check your voucher to see if you need one or not.

How to book a car?
1. Visit the Website Go to EconomyBookings. 2. Enter Your Rental Details Pick-up and Drop-off Locations: Enter the city or airport where you want to pick up and drop off the car. Pick-up and Drop-off Dates: Select the dates and times for both pick-up and drop-off. Driver Age: Specify the driver's age, as this can affect rental options and pricing.​ Country of residence: Please select your country of residence. This information may affect available rental options, insurance requirements, and pricing. Currency Selection: Choose the currency you prefer to view prices and make payments in. 3. Choose a Vehicle Browse through the available cars that match your criteria. Use filters to narrow down options by car type, price, or supplier.​ 4. Review Terms and Conditions Click on the "Terms and Conditions" link under the car photo to understand the rental policies, including insurance coverage, fuel policy, and deposit requirements.​ 5. Select Additional Options (Optional) Choose any extras you may need, such as GPS, child seats, additional drivers, full coverage, roadside assistance or extended cancellation. 6. Enter Driver and Payment Information Driver Details: Provide the main driver's full name and contact information. Please make sure, that the email address and flight number are provided correctly. Payment Information: Enter your credit or debit card details.​ 7. Confirm and Pay Review all entered information and rental details. Submit your payment. You will receive a confirmation. Please note: you will receive the voucher 72 hours before the start of your rental.

How should I plan my pick-up and drop-off time?
Car rental suppliers have set business hours for vehicle pick-up, with some offering out-of-hours services for an additional fee. If your pick-up time is outside regular hours, any extra charge will be shown during booking. If no fee appears, it's either included or not charged. Supplier's working hours will be provided during the booking process, located on the left side of the screen. Please make sure to arrive with enough time to complete the vehicle pick-up.

What do I need to rent a car?
To rent a car you will need to provide a valid physical driving license (International Driving permit if renting abroad), ID card (passport if renting abroad), rental voucher (you receive it once the booking is completed). You may make the payment online with a debit card, but at the rental counter you`ll be required to provide a physical credit card under the main driver's name.

What is included in the total price?
Total price includes price for a car and local taxes and fees. Please note that the per day rate does not include taxes and fees. Additional equipment as child seats, additional driver, ski rack, GPS etc are not included in the prepaid rate. Additional extras are on request and payable locally to the agent when the vehicle is collected. Any charges payable locally may be subject to local VAT/Sales Tax. EconomyBookings will pass on all requests to the supplier in advance of your arrival, but unfortunately cannot guarantee the availability of any extras.

Can I add extra drivers to my rental?
Yes, you can usually add extra drivers to your rental, but: They must meet the same license requirements as the main driver. They need to be present at pick-up with their driver’s license. An additional fee may apply (unless extra drivers are included in your deal).

I want to know more about Full Coverage. What is covered and what is not?
WHAT IS FULL COVERAGE? Full Coverage covers bodywork, glass, tyres and other excess you have to pay, if your rental vehicle has been damaged. Full Coverage compensates the customer for the amount of the deductible/excess deducted by the car rental provider or charged by the insurance company in the event of damage or theft. The supplier’s Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) may be included in your rental price. CDW limits your liability for the car to the excess – the amount of money the car rental company will charge you in the event that the rental car is damaged. Such items as windscreen, locks, tyres, undercarriage and key are not covered by the CDW. If you are held responsible to pay the excess, you pay it to the rental company. Full Coverage does not replace a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). EconomyBookings shall not assume any responsibility if a CDW is not included in the rental price and the customer failed to provide valid proof of his/her own CDW as required by the car rental provider and mentioned in the confirmation voucher. If Full Coverage has been purchased along with the rental, it will cover all unexpected losses related to local car rental agreement. WHAT IS COVERED? ✔ Damage excess amount you pay if your rental vehicle is involved in an incident. ✔ Excess amount for car theft. ✔ Charges for damage to the rental vehicle mechanical components that are not covered by your car rental agreement including bodywork, roof, undercarriage, windscreen, windows, mirrors, locks, wheels, tires, hubcaps, engine, clutch, battery.* ✔ Towing costs related to damage. ✔ Costs incurred for replacement of a lost or stolen key for a rental vehicle. ✔ Processing fee (including admin fees charged by rental companies). Please note that when making a refund, the bank commission for an international payment is split between the customer and EconomyBookings. *Make sure to take pictures and videos of the entire rental car inside and outside before you pick it up. Walk around the car with the rental agent and ask them to document existing damage like scratches and dents. WHAT IS NOT COVERED? ❌ Any incident or damage caused by negligent acts such as drunk driving, misfuelling, driving off-road, breaking local laws or the rules of the road, and other situations when you weren’t sticking to the Terms & Conditions of car rental agreement. ❌ Extras/additional services (child seats, GPS, etc.). ❌ Personal valuables. ❌ Hotel costs or other out-of-pocket expenses. ❌ Cleaning costs or damage to the car’s interior or mechanical parts. ❌ Bank fees or any differences in currency exchange rates. ❌ Third-party damages. ❌ Car damage caused by natural disasters, acts of war and terror attacks. Policy limitations. Full Coverage requests must be reported to EconomyBookings no later than 30 days after the rental ends. Full Coverage reimburses damage and theft excess under your car rental agreement up to a maximum amount of 1 700 EUR*. *Or the same amount in local currency at the exchange rate.
