Kia introduces its flagman sedan
Kia Motors Company has revealed first official images of its new flagman – rear-driven sedan with the index K9. It is expected, that Kia K9 will hit Korean market already in Summer and little later it will appear on European and US markets.
According to experts, new Kia K9 looks very much alike BMW 7-Series, which is very popular all over the world. But, of course, this is not a simple imitation, as it happens with Chinese companies. Although K9 reminds 7-Series, new model has its own inimitable style. Anyway, K9 is a new stage of Kia design development, because, for example, future company's models will be fitted up with the same kind of radiator grill as K9.
Unfortunately, Kia has not spread any technical information about new car yet. It is likely built on the same platform as Hyundai Genesis and will possibly have the same kinds of engines: 3.6L V6, 4.6L V8 and 5.0L V8.
Kia expects, that new sedan will establish new standards in Sedan Class, despite it is rear-driven and its design will once again amaze the world.
